Default Is the optimal seating arrangement different in STTs?

The conventional opinion in poker is that it is best to act directly behind an aggressive player. In ring games and cash games I prefer this and it works well for me. But I have changed my opinion about this in STTs.

It seems to me that most of the "real" game is played on or around the bubble. I actually prefer to be the SB with the solid player in the BB. It makes it easier for me to put them on a range so my guesses about whether to push or not are more accurate.

I also find the weak-average players are not aggressive enough on the button in late game so I would naturally prefer them there.

Now, when I sit at a table and a solid player sits right behind me, I don't automatically switch seats anymore, I actually prefer it.

Does anyone make this adjustment in STT relative to other forms of poker?
