Yes, you were at my table. I didnt realize that you were actually there for this hand. I think you were going at it with this guy named Lenny? I was the Asian guy sitting two to the left of you. You wore a full tilt hat.

Crazy Jim? You who cracked my Kings with J8? Gotcha, bro. Lenny is aka 3rdCheckRaise on these boards.

In regards to the hand itself:

Sang is no dummy, and I would bet that he did not cap light.
If I remember the seating arrangement correctly, no one who saw the flop in this hand was raising light or getting out of line. There were a couple of fish at the table but I don't think any of them were involved in this hand.

Against this lineup, checking the flop with KK in an early position is fine. Betting is not terrible, but realize that it essentially turns KK into a bluff, and that you must not put any more bets in the pot unimproved.

If you guys need a bet to see "where you are at" then move down in limits. Crappy flop. time to fold. This is one of those situations, where the probability you are beaten far outweighs the risk of folding the best hand. Save the bets.

[/ QUOTE ]

the NL forums are a few down. bet flop, if called bet turn check river. if raised on flop peel and fold turn. yes your hand is not vulnerable but the pot is big, pick it up. you have the best hand a lot of the time.

Emerson summed it up very well above.

Against this lineup, I fold in a multiway pot if I'm facing a turn bet and am not closing the action after a flop checkthrough.

Against a smaller field it is somewhat closer of a decision, but on an Ace high flop in a 5 way pot that was coldcapped before it gets to me preflop, KK is your basic dead meat hand.
