Default My bluff got cawled... now what?

My image is super tight because I doubled up early in the session and now havent seen a playable situation in 4 hours so maybe that had some affect on my play in the pot.
Villan and I have very little history Iv seen him play alittle, hes a dealer at the casino that just got off work at 2:30 in the morning and is seeing some hands, he seems savvy and aggressive.
Live 5-2-1 full ring game Villan in this hand has 1000 in this hand and I cover. The hand I play with him is his second hand at the table, the first hand he raised 30 UTG+1 with AA and doubled up. This hand hes UTG and makes it 20 to go PF a mid pos. loose goose thinks and calls, this is where my brain takes a vacation, I look at Q6s and make it 120 thinking well I'm 100% he doesnt have aces this hand...lol, he doesnt think very long, and while grumbling with obvious anger smashes a stack of 5s in the pot for a call.
FLOP: J92 r he checks I bet 200 he thinks for a bit and calls
TURN: K (no draws) he checks, this card makes me tank because Im thinking of shoving this card to represent AK but cant pull the trigger.
RIVER: 2 he checks

Early in my poker career this old pro once told me "you cant check twice" after I tried to check raise bluff him on the river with air vs his top pair and he called for thousands of dollars I couldnt afford to lose back then so its kind of burned into me brain that "you cant check twice". This made me think more about the issue of checking to your opponent on the river after checking a no action turn... it really shows a lot of weakness to check the river after checking the turn, you've given up your last chance to force value from your opponent. When either a scared/passive/weak/short stacked type player makes this second check; a bluff is almost manditory but vs a thinking/trick/savvy/asian guy/deep stacked I think this check can easily be bluff catcher. During my river tank all these thoughts of how he would constrew my action and how he would react to a push are swriling and I finally decide that I've taken too long and a push is going to look too weak to not get looked up and check.

I know this situation is looks -EV from every angle but once you have gotten your self into a situation like this (raise PF continuation bet with nothing) whats the best way to deal? Save your stack for another pot or go for the gusto/busto? OR do you never find your self in situations like this because bluffing like this is retarded...?

It's his second hand at the table, so your tight image doesn't help you.

If you're going to bluff at it again, do it on the turn. The K is a good bluff card.

Once you check the turn, give up. Your line looks like you're FOS if you bet the river and you should get called.

tbh thats alot of writing and i havent read it all. But bluffing turn will be way more successful than bluffing river imo. Difficult to make a credible bluff on that river unless you are trying to represent slowplayed straight or turned K (which you would surely bet) and also theres no threat of future bets so he will rightly call you quite light if he is any good.
