villain is a decent reg, aggressive preflop, something like 25/21. today i've been 3betting him pretty liberally and he's mostly been folding, but this hasn't been happening so much that it's really blatant or anything.

I don't really see the point to checking the flop here. This is a really tough spot without some more specific reads. You're getting about 2:1, the board is pretty drawy but you're behind a lot of them. I think folding and calling are pretty close EV wise and wouldn't really fault either one.

I either look for a cheap showdown on the flop or bet/fold as it looks like you did.

Call preflop.

As played, fold flop raise.

Please stop advocating such passive preflop lines, especially out of position. And don't tell people to open limp in 6max.

I think as played standard would be to fold to his flop raise here.

I like pre-flop, great hand to reraise with.

Although it is up to you to determine if he is getting sick of you, but even then he might be pushing hands like TT+ which own you, although TT specifically is very unlikely in this particular hand.

In short: I would fold the flop pretty much always, it's a tough call to make even if you think he is steaming in some way.

Calling preflop sucks here.

I used to always call in this spot but you see TT-AA way too much.

yea you have to fold this flop, even air like AK has decent equity on you. Most of his range is QQ-AA, some is a flush draw+ other outs(straight cards or overs), and a small amount is AK. You are never far enough ahead here to cover when you're a 10:1 dog.
