When did Larry leave Seinfeld, what season? [/ QUOTE ] believe he left after season 7. i don't get people who overrate larry david's contribution to seinfeld - 'the comeback' (jerk store!), 'the chicken roaster' (cooo-stanza!), 'the susie' ('believe it or not, george isn't at home...'), 'the summer of george', 'the strike' (festivus) - were all after larry david left. these episodes are absolute classics with great george contributions. |

George was at his best in the later seasons IMO.

my fav. is the one where he takes the hooker to the baseball game, not sure of the title. "I will whip a titty out!" awesome. i'm also in the 'not a huge seinfeld fan' camp. [/ QUOTE ] Just watched this one last night, called The Carpool Lane. Definitely one of my favorites as well, Larry David trying to buy an ounce of shwag is hilarious. |

I checked out Seinfeldscripts.com and actually I didn't really have a clue what I was talking about, there were tons of good episodes post-larry. |

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm
My wife's great uncle is Cheryl's dad on this show, Paul Dooley is his real name. He is only on the show a few times each season. Probably his most famous episode is the one where the chef at their restaurant has Tourette's.
We were in LA recently and met with him and he told us a lot of behind the scenes stuff with this show. About 90% of the show is improvised and Larry David is very similar to his character in real life. Be on the look out for some interesting developments (i.e Larry and Cheryl) for the upcoming season. |
