I always check my list of fish on PS first, sit with them if I can. Then I look for % that go to the flop. After that it's pot size, then hands/hour.

And if you are good at doing it, surely it's just as EV or more EV. If not though, or you are playing lots and lots of tables, or you want to reduce variance/stress, I think my advice is good. |

There was a post about a month ago address an issue like this.
Basically, you actually want to sit at tables with smaller than average pot sizes because good players build larger pots than bad ones, on average, because they're more aggressive and have better bet sizing. Also, the thread suggested sitting down at an empty table if you can't find any really soft ones. Why? Ask yourself: As a multitabling tag, what tables do you tend to sit in on first? |
