All I'm gonna say is that J-Mac should def take advantage more of his situation. I think I've been a really good friend to whitelime (which is easy bc he's a great guy), but I've never felt bad asking for help.

But I remember one specific week in Feb 2006 when I had dropped like 20 straight buyins at 1/2. I called up Whitelime and was just like "bro, I need your help. Can I come over and you can watch me play?" I played for 3 hours with whitelime, J-Mac, and jmac's gf watching. I can't remember exactly how many buyins I made but I think it was 6 or 7 in 3 hours. I did not have a losing month (or anything close to it) after that. Whitelime helped plug some of my bigger leaks and help to simplify my game. Plus, having a friend you trust watching over your shoulder is really comforting.

Anyways Jmac, this thread rocks Keep up the good work, and I'll try to swing by this wkend. I'm no krantzy shmantzy, but i'm more than happy to pound some beers and chop your action at 5/10 or 10/20

J-Mac. Do you know a guy named Matt that went to NYU a couple years ago and played a lot of cards. He was from Florida. Because a lot of what you describe is what my roommate tells me about his experiences at NYU with some guy that was rediculasly good at cards. It sounds like both he and you are describing Emil (both started playing the 10 cent give aways and never deposited). I would be very curious to know if it is the same guy. I would say my roommates last name but I dont know if he would like that. If you think you know him Ill pm you.

edit I just talked to my roommate same guy.

After a coaching session with Emil I went on a hot run and turned $1,000 into $200,000. I am storing the majority in cd cases.
