Re: Best Comedy Sketches of All Time
SNL
The late John Belushi and his friend try to smuggle many pounds of cocaine through an airport security check point. In fact I believ they try to bring it in via a cart thingy that ppl use for dirt etc. when working outside. Absolutely gold. If anyone knows what season this sketch was on plz tell. |

I didn't see anyone post Who's on First? Pretty much *the* most famous comedy sketch. [/ QUOTE ] the best....this version is a live performance and is slightly better, IMO: who's on first |

Re: Best Comedy Sketches of All Time
Lots of good ones mentioned already of course.
A few you might not be as familiar with many of which I can't find on youtube unfortunately (have a couple of these on tape): - SCTV Martin Short Shower in a Briefcase sketch. I don't think I laughed so hard in my life - House of Buggin with John Leguizamo parody of West Side Story. The Jets from West Side Story are dancing and singing their way aroun a fight against a modern-day tough, NY gang that is somewhat confused by their antics. - The Hollow Men "No We Just Sell Shoes" song and dance. Very weird and hilarious. "Pork For Gays!" Other weird Hollow Men sketches: "Film Noir" http://youtube.com/watch?v=vvBlVHDnZDo part 2 link - Lots of good ones from the old Ben Stiller Show, "Few Good Scouts" parody of "Few Good Men", http://youtube.com/watch?v=gBkHoxAta0I "Information 411" with Adam West "Bono endorsement for Lucky Clovers" "Die-Hard 12" "PBS Telethon parody" "What is Sexy" perfume parody commercials for Garden Hoe and garden-hose. "Tony Bobbins Informercial" I think the SNL Sofa King sketch is pretty awesome too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDn3fpkBLV8 SNL - "Shweaty Balls" link Sentimental addition: Kids in the Hall - Feelyat (weird Dutch game-show) http://youtube.com/watch?v=_JinJ7NY5_E |

[/ QUOTE ] John, I think you're describing the clip I posted above, not sure of the season '75-79 I would think. I found it while searching for other Belushi clips |

Re: Best Comedy Sketches of All Time
Rofl I love feelyat, and as long as we're on the subject of Kids in the Hall, I also love buddy cole, "you have my pen", girl drink drunk, film buff, "never put salt in your eyes", "got any pot" with the devil, etc etc...
