Default Problem Installing UB with Windows Vista

I'm having problems installing the UB software on a new lap top with Windows Vista. I keep getting the error message below when I try to run the setup program. I am not having problems installing any other poker software. Any idea what is causing this? Thanks.

The file '\eula.txt' could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory. A required privilege is not held by the client.

see if you can download the install file vs. running. then run it from your hard drive by right clicking and running as administrator. Not sure if that's the problem but with Vista you have to run ALL poker apps as administrator.....if you want them to work that is. thanks Bill Gates.

Yeah, everytime a program doesn't seem to be working right the first thing I do is run as admin. 90% of the time that is the fix.

First of all, make sure to run the EXE file as Administrator. You can do that in Vista by right clicking on the file and selecting "Run as Administrator".

If that does not work, temporarily disable UAD. You can do that by going to:

1. Start
2. In search window type: "run" (no quotes) then press enter
3. Little run window will pop up, type: "msconfig" (no quotes) and press enter
4. Click on the last tab to the right (sorry do not have Vista running now, don't remember the name) and click on Disable UAD
5. Click Run. A security notification should pop up.

Now run the EXE as Administrator again.

Voila.
