Do we always have enough equity to follow 2 all-in's with an OESD on a rainbow flop regardless of whether we think we're ahead or not?
e.g. KcQs on JhTd4c How about, JhTd on KcQs4c or KcTd on QsJh4c board....you get the idea |

It depends on what sort of ranges you can come up with for Villains.
Your first example looks your mostly likely one to call with as you have 2 overcards in addition to your OESD which MAY give you 6 additional possible outs. If you were up against 2 Villains with TPTK in this situation, your call is very much +EV. But if you're up against 2 pair and a set you're -EV in calling. As I say, just play around with ranges and stove them. |

OESFD yes. OESD no. 2 all ins likely means two strong hands. Even if villains both have TPTP/TPGK we don't have the 33% equity we need.
Board: Qs Kd 4c Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 69.444% 69.17% 00.28% 44970 180.00 { KQs, KQo } Hand 1: 02.655% 02.38% 00.28% 1546 180.00 { AKs, AKo } Hand 2: 27.901% 27.90% 00.00% 18140 0.00 { JhTd } However, with the OESFD we have more than 33% equity and can thus make a call profitably, even against sets. Assuming two made hands. Board: Qd Kd 4c Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 49.945% 49.94% 00.00% 4059 0.00 { KK } Hand 1: 04.319% 04.32% 00.00% 351 0.00 { 44 } Hand 2: 45.736% 45.74% 00.00% 3717 0.00 { JdTd } |

[/ QUOTE ] No, you donīt always have the odds for calling 2 allins with an OESFD. If one of your opponents has a higher flush draw, it might look like this: Board: Qd Kd 4c Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 21.595% 21.59% 00.00% 585 0.00 { JdTd } Hand 1: 18.051% 18.05% 00.00% 489 0.00 { Ad2d } Hand 2: 60.354% 60.35% 00.00% 1635 0.00 { KK } Even if the other opponent just has a hand like TP, you might not have odds to call: Board: Qd Kd 4c Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 22.924% 22.92% 00.00% 1863 0.00 { JdTd } Hand 1: 26.947% 26.46% 00.49% 2150 40.00 { Ad2d } Hand 2: 50.129% 49.64% 00.49% 4034 40.00 { AKs, AKo } But still, play your OESFD:s fast. |
