well ur buddy was right about his range, and that the K would scare him and u knew there was the chance ud give a hand like TT (underpairs) the freecard for the two outter by not 3betting the flop or donking or cr'ing the turn.... just as much ur fault as his if not moreso

I think u played it fine tbh, shoving doesnt get as much value from worse hands as the line u took imho and i think with those stack sizes/ blinds extraction was the better route to take than protection, u cant put him on a K after he raised the flop, and u could have shoved the flop but u would likely have just taken it down there vs his most likely range weakish PPs.

plus who cares u could rebuy for 10 bucks and there will still 500 people left not like u were on the bubble or anything

not trying to strategize really just saying ur complaints and blaming ur friend are a bit unwarranted.

Just for clarification, this was 2 and a half hours into the tournament. Rebuy period was well over.

bparis is the biggest nit regular i have ever seen in a tournament. also, maybe don't take his advice, his pokerdb results are less than stellar to be nice
