Re: Lag to my left
It might work I guess if Villain is a folder or is 3-betting so often because he thinks you fold too much post flop, but the chances that you run into a big hand or a showdown bound Villain seem too high. He's not folding any pair and you lose value from the A-high or worse hands you have in rough shape -- you dominate a good part of his range if he's raising light and would prefer that he just keeps betting.
Calling down to the river on most boards seems to be the play. Whether to call a river bet depends on Villain, but I'd call liberally until given reason to reevaluate. |

Re: Lag to my left
[ QUOTE ]
??? 1:7 with one overcard and maybe drawn dead ??? can someone explain this to me? [/ QUOTE ] By great price, I mean on my bluff. [ QUOTE ] Against LAGs like this I tend to let them bet all the way for me and generally hit them on the river [/ QUOTE ] so you are stating you like c/c c/c b/f best? Basically I was sick of capping here and then getting pushed off what felt like could still be the best hand in a biggish pot. |
