No, with no reads giving up is the right play

just make sure you note villain saw you fold here to a miniraise and take this into account on all future hands at the table

Check/min-raise on the turn is pretty much the strongest play in the fish-book!

Im just saying..

EDIT: I see you got check/min-raised on the turn on both of your last 2 hands posted. And you were BEAT both times, right?

At least 3/4 pot the flop, 3/4 pot the turn. If you do that and he raises, you can be more confident in a fold to his raise.

Given your 1/2 pot bets, I think your calldowns are fine.
