I like pushing here or raising to like 45k and calling ai. You might be viewed as a squeeze and get looked up by a worse PP (which is usually what the caller has, btw or AQ and still might not be able to call). If he has AA-JJ then gg you.

I believe a push is standard here.

Void of any reads (?) I'll push 88 and up.

I agree. Dint notice this was end play with only 7 remaining. Making his range wider by 30 hands or so, makes the EV to be 10K+ so it's a push.

Thanks.

there wasnt 7 people left...there was a little less than 3 tables, so roughly 22-25. tourny started with over 1k players...so fairly deep money wise. no reads on mp2 or button.

so if money is deep there is another reason to push
you covers limper and very very hurts raiser

i dont understand any raise 35-45k if you go all in then
are you want to get a 2 callers? or maybe you hope the flop with overcards would be scaring him so he folds?
just cant understand

the point of the raise to 45k is that it appears stronger than the an all-in. The point is that someone is going to call the raise when they know its going to commit you all in. Also, it can be viewed as a squeeze and they might shove over the top with a worse hand.

ive thought about that after few minutes after posted mine
and got your point
i think this is very nice move in tournes with high buy-in ($50+)
but in situation when this is _lower buy-in_ OR they _sily enough and want to see flop with AK and go away in bad flop (still having some money to play with, even very low) such raise would be a mistake

anyway very good move, but i push here, lol

I don't quite get you here. Surely if you think the other guy is going to play AK like that - i.e only seeing 3 cards instead of five, then the raise would become an even better play?

why would you reraise and leave yourself pot commited? after you 3bet to 35k or 40k, you are commited! you said you can fold to reraise? how can you fold to 1 to 3.X odds after you reraise, even a lower pair are justified to call in that spot. calling is by all means the best option here and reevaluate the situation on the flop. reraising is toooooooooooo risky and too pointless when your M is about 22. totally uncalled for.

Maybe re-raising isn't the best option, but I am 100% sure that just calling OOP against two (or more) players with these stack sizes will be -EV, id much rather just fold.
