$100-200 Suited Connectors Preflop
Do you call a raises preflop with a suited connector when you are out of position? Lets say effective stacks are 100bb, you limp 67s from MP and the CO raises 4xBB. Are you calling?

Re: $100-200NL Suited Connectors Preflop
Why? Are you calling everyone, certain opponents or what? Is it profitable to just call indesciminately?

Im also interested, calling 1 raiser after I limped with SC has been very unprofitable for me.

Re: $100-200NL Suited Connectors Preflop
vs utg raises where the range is JJ+ and AK i wouldn't bother if i were the only caller. on the button with a cold caller and with the possibility of one of the blinds calling I might call only to widen my range and be a pain in the arse to play against. However I don't know how profitable this is, make sure pfr'er is worse than you for a start and has enough of a stack.

[/ QUOTE ] I generally agree with this statement and it has led to more of my opponents guessing as to my starting hands. Is it a leak...well that is up for debate, but you definately shouldn't make it a standard part of your game. I think the most important components of this type of play are that you must be (1) comfortable with your post flop play, (2) be able to pinpoint the range with which your opponent operates and (3) be attentive to his bet sizing (ie, what he is trying to accomplish). I have personally had quite a bit of success with coldcalling SCs *in position* and allowing my postflop play compensate for my inferior starting hand. Boooooo variance. |

Re: $100-200NL Suited Connectors Preflop
This is going to be tough to play OOP, so you must be comfortable with the aspects LifeTilt mentions. You must also be confident that the raiser is a player that will pay you off if you hit a big hand. That's a lot of conditions to play this hand, so be sure you are paying attention to your opponents before you play a hand like this.

Re: $100-200NL Suited Connectors Preflop
why would you be calling with sc's oop...if you are going to play them early you should be opening not limping.
