Any good books for low-limit short hand?
Hi, I am pretty knew to the forum. I have a simple question and I think I know the answer but just to make sure ... is there any books written for low limit short handed games? I just bought and read SSHE, but I noticed that PS is the only site with active FR games. AP seems like its all 6 max, with maybe two FR's, and I guess I can't remember what FullTilt had but I didn't think there was many FR. So, being that I would rather play at AP, it seems I will have to learn short handed games. I read the reviews on Winning Tough Hold'em Games .. and Limit Hold'em: Winning Short-handed Strategies, but I don't know if they would work for lower limits?

HE for advanced players (sklansky) has some information on short-handed play.
However I would imagine that browsing these boards will and playing low, low limits will be the best way to learn. play, post, learn, play better... something we've all done. |

I think there is plenty of solid stuff in WITHG even for LL six max. You just have to remember to identify your opponents and choose the right advice accordingly.

Re: Any good books for low-limit short hand?
If you play low limit you will probably play a lot of multiway hands, and that is very well covered in SSHE. Stox book is mainly about playing HU postflop against good players wich don't occur to often at 2/4 and below. A lot of the concepts in Stox book could still be used, but don't overdo it at those limits. A combination of Stox and SSHE should be somewhat optimal for SH-limit at small limits.
