I didn't think they were serious until the prop bet came out. Then I figured they probably had some higher-level discussion that got edited out... maybe about the number of hands you'd have to run simultaneously hot-and-cold before 82s has greater pot equity than 95o. Nope. Heads up all the way, baby!

Lol amir Vahedi, calling 3 bets from nits with Q8 off OOP.

Where does he get his money again?

Oh and I love watching him.

Give me Elezra, Gus Hansen, Vahedi, Farha, Antonius, and Kido Pham in a 6 max cash game please.

It looked like Smith was paid off on the prop bet from one of the bundles of cash on the table. I thought I saw Friedburg holding one of the bundles after the payoff.

right before the first break of the second episode when they showed some guy shuffling the deck but only showed his hands - was that esfandiari?

also, shaniac - it kind've felt like vahedi might've been upset with you for questioning von halle's push with the 9-2 (even though i didn't hear you say anything). what was that all about?

No one was "questioning" or berating the push--if anything, I think we were just joking around in order to make him feel better, but Amir, I guess, wanted to make sure that we weren't being jerks, and that's fine too.

Also, fwiw, the 92o push was bad because it was totally unnecessary, but hardly the worst play I can imagine--at least he was being aggressive. It's also not uncommon for people to get nervous and make bad plays early on during tv tables.
