[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] why not just get 2 24" dells off ebay? [/ QUOTE ] i dont like fleabay all that much, nor paypal. i suppose if the price is right though. i havent checked into it much past figuring out which monitors i would like to have. by the time i actually go through with it, i will probably spend another 2 hours researching the new models. [/ QUOTE ] Aren't you still playing 5nl? Anyways, 2*24" monitors seems like a waste of money too me, if you are using them to play poker (if it's for something else, just ignore my comment). I would much rather get 1 30" monitor, or if you are on a tight budget 2x 20" non widescreen monitors. I have a 23" 1900*1200 apple screen, and it's fine, but for the same price you can get 2 20" 1600*1200 screens, which will serve you better when multitabling. [/ QUOTE ] i dont want them just for multitabling, i like to have lots of screen. multitabling will be included in its use but seriously, im a tech geek and multitask like nobody's busines. photoshop, video editing, sound editing, sound recording, server administration, poker, etc. tons of crap i could do, all at the same time, with dual 24" screens. Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: July PT 2(LC/NC)**
So this was a random observation / theory I had. With the WSOP going on and a lot of the high stakes players in Vegas playing the WSOP events, does it seem like the uNL games have gotten easier? Specifically, it seems like there's a lot of very bad players playing right now.
It seems like there's a trickle down effect where almost everyone's winrates have been good this month, mine included. It also seems like an abnormal amount of uNL players have gone up in stakes this month to SSNL. |

Honestly, that makes like no sence at all.
It's like you're saying that those WSOP dudes were owning the uNL up? |

Honestly, that makes like no sence at all. It's like you're saying that those WSOP dudes were owning the uNL up? [/ QUOTE ] I'm saying that there's less money being taken out in the higher stakes games, so the SSNL guys are playing higher because the bad players aren't losing their money as fast. This results in the SSNL games being softer and some of the better uNL players moving up to SSNL and the uNL games being softer...trickle down effect. Might not make sense at all, just something I was thinking about. I mean, if you think about it, there's a lot of pretty significant winners in the bigger games (1000NL+) out at the WSOP. |

No but the WSOP tends to remind the public about Poker and brings new fish to the game.
