AK and two raises...
I dont hav hand history for this hand but it was fairly deep in the stars 11 rebuy about 90 left so in the money...
I'm in the big blind with AK...with a stack round 70,000 blinds 3 and 6k I think....Recently moved to the table, only seen one orbit so no real reads... Guy in Cutoff raises to 18k standard 3x raise, Small blind thinks for quite a while and min- reraises to something like 32k.... Is this automatic shove knowing SB is priced into a call with anytwo? |

Re: AK and two raises...
I think so. Other people seem to have the incredible ability to fold AK PF. I don't.

Re: AK and two raises...
Yeah I just can't seem to fold AK either!
Does it a difference if we know villian in small blind has 1010....(which is what he had...) |

Re: AK and two raises...
If we know he has 10 10 - much easier shove. Now you know both cards are live and you are getting much better than required odds.

Re: AK and two raises...
Yeah I did stick it in...just from timing and the size of the bet I had a feeling 77-QQ was the sort of hand I was facing...So many players trap with AA-KK...obv lost the coinflip but just kinda felt midway when I was pushing...ff he 's going to call and it's going to be a race...I have enough chips and think I'm one of the better players can I look for a better spot...and then I ofcourse said NO! I have AK...they can't make me fold...I don't think it was bad...certainly from maths perspective but I still think you can argue a fold there...

Re: AK and two raises...
I would have to fold, raise could be pocket pair and the minimum raise could indicate QQ KK AA where they want to get paid off...if you feel kinda short stacked then DEF push with AK if you have enough chips then fold it and wait for a better position to double up!

[/ QUOTE ] SSimon, Sure, it could be QQ-AA (and who cares about QQ anyway?), but it certainly doesn't have to be that. Unless you are absolutely sure that one of these guys is holding KK or AA you simply can't fold AK preflop with under 12BB. Do so if you hate money, but otherwise, you MUST ship those chips to the center. --TFGoose |
