Default Re: Time to buy a new set of clubs

i would go get fit at golf galaxy if i were doing it

I bought a set of clubs at my local Golf Galaxy 2 weeks ago. It was a good experience. I hit irons from 7 or 8 different sets as long as I wanted with the salesman helping me every step of the way. I was never pushed towards one set or the other based on price.

I went with Mizuno M-19s over everything else.

Custom fitting cost $14.99 for the entire set.

My only gripe is that better deals can be found on their website that are not available in the store. Example - I bought an Adams BUL 3 Wood for $199. Online if you purchase the Adams BUL driver, you get the 3wood for free. So, for $100 more I got the driver and the wood.
I also bought a Taylor Made Burner Rescue as a 3 iron replacement. If purchased online, you received a dozen Taylor Made golf balls for free, which would have cost about $45.

I did return both clubs (never hit) and bought the others online the same day.
