I think you see 23o and AA,KK here a lot.

There's a good chance one of them has 2pr here, so I fold.

lol no (edit: relates to the post above ama's). I'd say this thread actually qualifies for one of the 5 threads with the worst advice ever given regarding to teh playaments of a set. And that includes anyone who doesn't even realize that OP is getting great odds here against a flush and thinks that stuff like 3 combos of 22 are a decent part of villains range if hero holds 33. That's all just plainly rediculous.

This thread is really getting on my nerves. And a 25/10 player over 100 hands has a bad understanding of preflop play and has a pretty wide range here because he is in the SB and won't raise a lot of hands. So his most likely holding if he has any idea about combo draws is AdTx as I said already earlier in the thread. The info we have about villain is pretty useless, actually.

My question would be what what we put MP on? Flush as well? Top pair, Ad kicker? I think the range we put MP on is essential

[/ QUOTE ]

It was actually so essential that MP got all nervous and folded.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did see that he folded...wasn't in the history. Anyway, giving villian a VERY wide range, you are a 2 to 1 dog and getting paid 1.8 to 1. CLOSE, like you said, though I wouldnt give him such a wide range after shoving AI after a flop bet, raise, reraise. THAT is why what MP's range is so important b/c I can NARROW the AI raiser's range. If I thinK MP is betting a weak ten, I sure can make it LESS LIKELY that teh AI raiser has it, thus trimming down his range. You aren't quite getting the odds to call when his range is terribly wide, which I dont think it is with the flop action.
