Default 100 NL: JJ on button

No real reads on villian. I had only been at the table a few orbits and had been really active and aggressive but showing down no hands. I figured that with my recent activity he could 3-bet me light there. How does my line look here? Especially interested in what everyone thinks about my flop bet.

are you calling a shove pf?

flop bet is fine, no need to make it much bigger given the effective stacks

Boy, I don't know. Considering how active I had been I think he could have been 3-betting me with A9s and up, 99 and up. Considering that I probably would have called a push. Or am I giving your average 100NL player to much credit here.

it depends but typically you are going to be crushed by his 5bet shoving range.

How do you feel about my 4-bet. Should I only do that if I am willing to go all the way with the hand pre-flop?

Don't really like 4-betting unless he's shown a proclivity to 3-bet lightly.

i think JJ a pretty bad hand to 4bet readless. you're folding out his lower pairs that you're ahead of (not giving him a chance to bluff with them) and he's shoving everything that beats you or a coinflip against (AK, maybe AQ).

i'd just call the 3bet and see a flop, esp in position
