PF obviously good.

Flop call is thin but not horrible given that you're closing the action and there are many good turn cards.

Turn CR is a good value CR as long as you're certain that at least 2 people are calling, which in a pot this big is quite likely.

River is obv standard. nh

You should just fold the flop because you have no hand and only weak draws.

Rest is good.

Getting 20-1 pot odds you really don't need much backdoor draw to call, there must be good implied odds as well with so many in the pot. And here there is both flush and straight backdoor draws. I don't think this is thin at all considering you close the action.

All-in-all nice hand.

The turn check raise there is a play that I dont currently make, (possibly because I am a nit). You are getting 13:1 to call, which is great, with 13-15 outs...I would have called to see the river.

Anyone want to further elaborate on the Turn Chk-Raise?

I like check raise turn, he is closing the action it means all players will call for just one more big bet, raise for value nice play

With this many people in the turn c/r for value is ok. Hero is about 2:1 to hit. But I want to point out that with 4 players in the pot it is not unlikely that someone has a better heart draw and that the spades giving Hero a straight is tainted as well.

I dont mind the turn c/r, but dont overestimate your number of average outs.

Well, you cannot close the action with a check raise, since everyone gets a chance to reraise, as it isnt a cap.

Yeah, I am giving OP all of the heart outs, since my guess is that a flush would be a winner for him, and only 4 strt outs in [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]s and [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]s due to the [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] flush draw.

But the feeling is that with a ~2:1 draw on the river, it is a raise if you are called by at least 3 people? it still feels spewy to me, but I do buy the equity arguement.

The biggest downside would be if there was a higher flush draw, since that would really screw you from an 'out-counting' perspective.
