I'm not criticizing Lam for folding his way up. I just think it's interesting his chip stack is almost the same as the start of the day (when he was a chip leader) and now 7 players have been eliminated.

Is there any possibility that there was a deal during the break?

[/ QUOTE ]

What kind of deal could possibly make sense?

Yang has Lam outchipped 5:1.

Payout 4.8 mil. for 2nd, 8.5 mil for first.

I can't see a deal that makes sense for either of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ummmm....are you being serious?

we're referring to a deal made after it got down to three handed, immediately proceeding the elimination of Krevchenko.

In honesty though, I really do think that call was read dependent. He seemed much more on the fence about the call until Rahme stupidly started talking. Once Rahme was talking Yang seemed to make his mind up decisively and quickly. He does seem like a emotional read kind of player, but this time he did seem to get a clear read.

[/ QUOTE ]

ummm....this is ridiculous reasoning

he shouldn't have bet the flop unless he knew what he was going to do v a c/r allin

given Rahme's stack size and the preflop betting, a c/r allin was not that surprising of a move

I am tilted after watching this.
Seriously, i see hands played better at the play money tables.

"Tight nit reraises me pretty big from the blinds.I have an A, i call"

"I have KK..ooo, an A flops.I check"

"I flopped top pair, i bet"

"I have KK, i am all in"

"What could this guy have to do it?"

Notice, it's the first time a second level of thinking was introduced into this hand

"He is thinking about calling.I should talk more and make him call with his....Oh wait, what if he has me beat? It's your decision!"

"Who cares?I have top pair. I call"

Okay, I haven't been paying attention, so berate me at will, but correct me if I'm wrong, but there's $125 million in chips in play. How is the top prize only $8 million?? Did everyone get $20K to start?

[/ QUOTE ]

Harrahs took 60 Million out of the prize pool this year
