I think the crumbs were a metaphor for the few chips he thought he was waiting for Jennifer Harman to call.

God, donkaments are so stupid. Why don't they just have a World Series of Coin Tossing for millions of dollars?

(Yes, I paid for the broadcast and have spent 13 hours watching it...just saying I'd much rather watch HSP.)
