No higher than NL50 for NLHE.

why would you play 1/2 nlhe and 1/2 lo8, the limit equivilent of 1/2 would probably be 5/10 if not a bit higher...

If you have to ask this question, surely you are not suited for the game?

with 1k just play 10c/25c and 25c/50c along with 1/2 lo8

No fixed number of buy-ins or big bets will work for everyone, or even most players. (Most players lose, and would burn through any amount eventually.) A good way to compare games is the following:

Comfort = bankroll * win rate / (standard deviation)^2

The comfort level you find acceptable depends on your personal risk tolerance and whether you are able and willing to move down when you hit a bad swing. Most people are happy with a comfort level between 2 and 4.

Your win rate depends on you. No one can tell you what your win rate is, or whether you are even beating a level. You have to come up with that information, although it may help to compare your estimates with what others feel are solid win rates.

The standard deviation depends on the game. For full ring limit Hold'em, the standard deviation is about 15 big bets per 100 hands, but this varies slightly depending on your playing style.

You have two games. Let's suppose your true win rate (not just the results of your past few sessions) in NLHE with a $2 big blind is $10/100 hands, and your standard deviation is $160/100 hands. Then your comfort level with a $1000 bankroll would be 1000 * 10 / 160^2 = 0.39. Very few people would be comfortable with only 5 buy-ins and those statistics. The risk of losing 5 buy-ins from your starting point would be about 45% if you stay at that level. If $1000 is not really your bankroll (the amount you can ever lose), but is just your balance, that might be ok for you.

Let's suppose your win rate in Limit Omaha split is 2 big bets/100, or $4/100, and your standard deviation is 10 BB/100, $20/100. (I'm not sure whether that is a plausible standard deviation for LO8, but people say it has low variance.) Then your comfort level with a bankroll of $1000 would be 1000 * 4 / 20^2 = 10. 500 big bets would be extraordinarily conservative with those statistics. It might make more sense to use 100-200 big bets.

Combining games is a bit complicated. One way to be safe it to make sure the minimum comfort level is achieved in each game, but that is overly conservative. Here is a way to determine a mixed comfort level under some circumstances: Past thread
.

Remember that having a sufficient bankroll for an expert does not give you the skills to play at a level. Don't play in a game you can't beat and don't enjoy just because someone tells you that your bankroll means you should play at that level.

The number of tables you play does not matter, as long as you have already factored that into your win rate. If your win rate does not depend on the number of tables you are playing (and neither does your standard deviation), you don't need a larger bankroll to play 4 tables than 1. Playing more tables gives you the same swings faster.
