Default URGENT rakeback inquiry appeciated

Hi,

I play mid-high stakes LHE poker on Party. My regular game is 20/40 and 30/60, although I do occasionaly dip below to 15/30, or move up to 50/100. I usually two-table short handed 20/40, or single table a 20/40 or 30/60 table. I get in at least 30+ hours a month, getting probably 50+ on the month of Jan. Since I did some research, I found out that I have missed out on a lot of extra money from not playing with rakeback. However, after reading ZeeJustin's statement about rakeback also being illegal on Party I got scared. Do people get their accounts frozen and funds confiscated for using rakeback? I am a preferred member, but even then I generally keep a couple thousand or more in my account at all times. Is the reward worth the risk?

Thanks in advance.

The real answer is:

Regardless of what Zee says or how comfortable everybody certainly is regarding rb there (since nobody has really documented a case where they've had their $$ taken-away for rb to my knowledge) you would be unwise to keep more in your account than you would be comfortable with losing if something went horribly horribly wrong.

The software can screw-up, they can think you are guilty you of colluding or chip-dumping (even if you did nothing wrong), or you can get hacked or get your software stolen.

I would further submit that if you are uncomfortable with the possibility of having $2k taken from you online-account that you shouldn't be playing 20/40 (much less 50/100).

I play 3/6 and 5/10 mostly...and I wouldn't exactly be in a world of financial hurt if I had $2k or so taken from an account (although I currently keep $1k or less in any one of my online-accounts).

If you're really concerend about your $2k then don't play there.
I am comfortable with the possiblity that something bad could happen.

It should not be a revelation to you that your money might not be 100% safe in these internet offshore gambling sites.

I had to consult a friend just to find out what you meant. All I can say is - if it is possible for you to actually lose 2K playing 2 tables of 20/40, then you really suck and need to reconsider some other game as recreation. I was initially going to make some gloat topics to go along with this about my poker skills and accomplishments, but knowing I'll probably get people like you all over my jock, I'll pass. Now go fantisize about blowing Sklansky or something you little douche.

If anyone wants to offer me deals, please PM.
