Playing big draws
How to do you all feel about playing big draws against fish at theses limits, when you have an overcard or two with the nut draw do you still play them when a fish has gone all in. I know most of the time the fish only has middle pair and am a fav in the hand but should i be waiting till i have the nuts till i go to war. I know these type of drawa are huge but i am sill most of the time taking a 50/50 and i feel gambling is giving the fish the advantage, im really lost as what to do.

Re: Playing big draws
yes, if it's +EV. If you're 50/50 to win then calling is ALWAYS +EV bacsuse of the dead money in the pot.
very basically, it's usually correct to play draws very aggressively against TAGish opponents because your FE always makes your push +EV. On some occasions it may be more EV to play them passively: ie. against very loose calling stations (esp. the ones who minbet-call all the time because you knoe you'll get paid off if you hit. but basically, yeah push. |

so you do play them then yes? [/ QUOTE ] Whether or not to play draws depends on your pot odds. Post a hand if you want better responses, thinking you can learn how to play a draw by posting this make you seem really stupid. |
