So poker talent can't be taught but can be learned from discussing with other players, but if you pay for it aka coaching it doesn't help?

I'm confused, say you're the best HUSNG player and I'm the 1100th best BCM, what's the difference between me paying you 200 bucks an hour to receive coaching or discussing with you hands I play? Should I not benefit equally from both just be a little shorter in the bankroll with the coaching road?

from what I can gather, all he's saying is that there are plenty of resources aside from coaching that are just as, if not more effective.

ummm, i'll tell you what you will and won't gain, a) becoming friends w/ a good HU player and learning that way is great way to learn stuff, no doubt, however alot of people won't have time, care enough to go in depth and really pick apart your play / HHs. Secondly, alot of the great HU players (like BCM), no offense man, still have a ton of leaks. Coaching is different than saying "Hey, did I play this right" to your friend, it's just going way more in depth, and most people aren't self motivated enough to do that on their own, so a coach a) motivates them, b) makes it their job to get into their game and really fine tune their mistakes

Umm I never said anything negative about coaching, I don't see why I'm getting the scarcasm...in fact I offered to coach.
