HP 5/10NL crappy river card
4 handed at this point at around 4AM. I'll try to get the details as much as i can remember them.
Villian was this guy, Nick, seemed like he was in his 40s, and probably the most solid player at the table. He mentioned he plays at Poker Stars as well. He was a bit too loose and passive at times, but he had other gears, when i first sat down at the table he either was getting hit in the face with the deck against me or had been double barreling me alot. Against him, I had made a few hands in the last half hour, and I had been in fast gear for about around, and I kind of got the impression that my image was not so good. He had about 4000 and I covered. UTG limped for 10, and I raised OTB to 50. Villian called from the BB and UTG called. Flop ($155): QJ4r I bet $150, Villian calls, UTG folds Turn ($455): QJs4 Ks I bet $450, Villian calls really fast River ($1255) QJs4Ks Ts Is this an easy bet/fold? What is a good bet size here? Should i block this, he didn't seem the type to neccesarrily raise a blocking bet, but if anyone at the table could have done it, it would have been him. |
