How to keep newbies out of oot

we should implement some sort of warning system so that the newbies who post badly will either leave or post better

The whole crusade of eliminating "bad posts" on a message board is about as practical as pissing in a hurricane while trying to keep your pants dry.

You won't get dumber from reading dumb posts on a message board. If anything, they'll swell your glorious sense of I'm Way Smarter Than You self pride quicker than going two-for-two at apple bobbing at the county fair.
