Ever stop and think that perhaps that player needs to lose? Many people play to lose. They need to lose in order to prove to themselves that they truly do have the worst luck on the planet. They need to feel that big loss.
Not everyone works the same way you do ChipsFerFree. Not only that but poker is a hard thing to become addicted to. |

[ QUOTE ]
Yesterday I was playing on a table with someone I looked up on Sharkscope. Turns out he has lost more than 50k and his graph is basically a forty-five degree line running from Zero down to minus 50k. I like winning. I like making money. Hell I like simply breaking even and being entertained. What I don't like -- is seeing someone that probably has a very bad problem and taking advantage of it. It's a love hate thing of course. So here's the actual question. Since Shark and OPR and others are keeping such lovely track of us, wouldn't it be a good idea for them to maybe send a message to the casinos letting them know who might have a really bad problem? Sort of like the reverse of the leader board? And now that I've written this -- I'm fairly sure PokerStars and FTP etc already have this information. Do they have any ethical obligation and if so at what point do you think it kicks in? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, and that guy drew out on me three times last night in a single table PLO hi/lo tourney to knock me out with sick hands he held. He called me with 8,8,9,J offsuit when I put him all in with AA23 double suited. Of course he hit 10, Q, 7, 8,8,. Don't report him until I get my money back. |
