CrazyLond, regardless of how Gus may have played one tournament, if you think he is anything like Dmitri, you are stupid. If you tell him so, you are a jerk.

"Scotty Nguyen started the day as one of the short stacks in 27th place. He's currently in the top 5." I believe Paul Wasicka was the short stack with 27 remaining last year. [/ QUOTE ] That last hand was the first one he has lost all day, except for his blinds here and there. |

Outer Table: Lee Watkinson vs. Jon Kalmar Preflop, Jon Kalmar limps in the small blind and Lee Watkinson checks the option. The flop is {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The players check the flop and turn. On the river, Kalmar checks. Watkinson bets 200,000 and Kalmar calls. Watkinson shows {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and takes it. [/ QUOTE ] Can we get a new setup? |

Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 6, Sun., July 15**
Featured Table: Philip Hilm vs. Scotty Nguyen for 4.12 million
Tuan Lam has the button in seat 1, Scotty Nguyen raises from the small blind to 460,000, and Philip Hilm calls from the big blind. The flop comes {Qc}{8d}{4h}, Nguyen checks, Hilm bets 550,000, Nguyen raises to 1.55 million, and Hilm calls. There is now 4.12 million in the pot. The turn card pairs the board with the {8h}, and both players check. The river card is the {Kc}, Nguyen thinks for about 30 seconds before he checks, Hilm quickly says, "All in," and Nguyen goes into the tank. After about 30 seconds, Hilm gets up and stands behind his chair, staring down at the cards, just a few feet to the left of Nguyen. After about two minutes, Nguyen folds, and Philip Hilm takes the pot. Featured Table: Scotty Nguyen Takes the Blinds & Antes Scotty Nguyen has the button in seat 4, and he raises to 450,000, winning the blinds and antes. got about 500k back....but lost another 2 million. |

Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 6, Sun., July 15**
I'm surprised Scotty's still committing so much to pots. With a final table seat pretty much locked up, the last thing I'd do is be betting nearly 10% of my stack in one hand unless I had the near nuts or nuts.
