I'm new to full ring and am playing 200nl at stars with you regulars a lot and notice a lot of you are playing <10vpip. Now, this to me is extremely tight even for full ring but apparently is profitable for you all. My question is 15vpip or less ideal for most profit or is being super tight just the easiest way to make money?
Also, sorry if this has been posted before. I'm new here. |

Good question..
I would like to see the winrates of the huge nits. The thing is: 15+ is good if you play good postflop and play good in general. If you don't want to be put into tough situations and like making .5BB/100 and are not looking to improve your play, then stick to <10 |

I play like 13/9 and do fine. I think it's pretty nitty, but it works.

Obv that falls in between the two categories of mine
I am saying don't play 15+ unless you play v well postflop. You could do so and be profitable main, but it is not necessary. |

Id be willing to bet that the majority of the top winners at 1/2 have vpips of at least 13

I guess I should say that the most of the top winners have PFR of at least 10

I'd be pretty shocked if a lot of 2+2ers have vpips less then 10. Most people I have data on who are that tight are losers in the game.
