[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I haven't watched the ME on PPV before, do they have card cam delayed, or is it old school and live? [/ QUOTE ] Old School and live. No card cam. I wish they'd show the entire event with hole cards the next day. I'd wait a day just to watch the PPV with hole cards. [/ QUOTE ] No card cam?? That sucks, and it is going to be a lot less exciting to the viewer that way.I thought they had like a 30 minute delay or something?? [/ QUOTE ] So people could watch at home and text their FT buddies what their opponents had in key situations? Ouch. I like the idea of no hole card cam. And they always have pros in there talking strategy and such. It works well. |

On the events with the hole-cams, players have to eat dinner together, instead of with their family/friends, have a guard with them at all times when not at the table, and can only have a couple of people in the tent. It sucks.

[ QUOTE ] Bummer, he got really unlucky. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, it's too bad. He did well keeping his cool and sticking around. [/ QUOTE ] William Spadea Eliminated in 13th Place ($429,114) William Spadea raised to 400,000 from middle position, Jon Kalmar re-raised to 1.2 million from the big blind, Spadea moved all in and Kalmer called, having Spadea covered. Spadea turned over {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, but was up against Kalmer's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The flop was {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}, making Kalmer a full house. The turn was the {2-Spades}, the river was the {5-Hearts}, and Spadea was eliminated. William Spadea finished in 13th place, earning $429,114. |
