Waffle House isn't that great. It's really cheap, but I've been to a ton of random diners that are much better for late night drunk food.

I have never eaten at a Waffle House.

I will have to change this.

omg!! what the hell is the matter with you??
If you live in a region where they have Waffle House's isn't it frequently considered a crime in many states to have never eaten there?

Texas-Melt Bacon, Egg and Cheese
double hashbrowns diced and capped (tomatoes and mushrooms)
Hell's Yeah!!!

Stopped off with GF and her family at a Waffle House on group road-trip/vacation to Florida.
Her Mom went NUTS for Waffle House.
When she was back in Peru she told her daughter that upon her return to the U.S. the first thing she wanted to do was go to Waffle House again.

There don't appear to be any in the NY/NJ area. There are a few in PA, though, so I'll investigate further.

Closest to northern NJ/NYC: Scranton, PA.
Closest to south Jersey/AC: Elkton, MD.

My place in Memphis was practically walking distance from a Waffle House.
One was about a 1 minute drive and there was a different one about a 3-5 minute drive. Probably 4-5 Waffle Houses within 10 minute drive.
We went past the closest one and went to the next-closest one on the theory that the food seemed to be a little less greasy there and they didn't screw-up the coffee as badly.

I can count 7 waffle houses within 5 miles of me and there might be more. I know their are two on opposite sides of I-85 at my exit outside of Atlanta that are no more than 300 yards apart.

i love waffle house but i'm not sure that i want a bunch of 2p2ers showing up there

my meals there always involve raisin toast

the lack of waffle houses is the major drawback to my region of the country

In Indiana these are called Waffle & Steak due to some copyright thing (or maybe just the old ones.)

Still great.

1. There are waffle houses in Indiana.

2. Just because two different places have waffle in the title doesn't make them the same place.
