The meat of this is: he didn't 3 bet you preflop, and on this particular board the ace is the same suit as the draw.

Thus, if he's raising you, he has:
1) draw
2) 2pr+
3) air

Kicker doesn't matter at all IMO for this situation, as Axs doesn't factor into the equation.

It took me many, many, many buyins to learn this.

At 100NL the flop looks like a pretty standard fold without any history/reads. Until I see an unknown at these stakes c/r with air or draws, I'm going to assume they have a hand.
