for a supernit like me, it's much easier to get meat/bacon/cheese/onion/mustard only at subway vs quizno's, so I tend to go there. That and it's next to the smoothie place.

Quizno's, but it's closer than most people think IMO. Subway isn't bad as long as you avoid any form of chicken there.

I personally would pick Quiznos if I hadn't had subs in a while, but at the same time I could eat Subway every day of the week while I couldn't do the same with Quiznos. Their sauces are great, but they aren't something I would regularly want to eat either. IMO both are very good. Also the Italian BMT at subway has a layer of salami, pepperoni, and ham which is quite a decent amount of meat.

Twice I almost chocked eating Subway pastrami when a "stringy piece" got stuck in my throat.

[/ QUOTE ]

So is this where you choke then hock up your food at basically the same time?

lol @ jimmy john's. They are the only chain sub place that could actually challenge subway for worst sub. I'm 99% sure that people that like JJ are so entranced by their "clever" advertising that they don't realize that their subs are crap. If you are going to eat chain sandwiches, eat at Heidi's or Spicy Pickle.

In Canada, it's Subway by a mile (even thought their prices recently went way up).

When they first came to Canada Quizno's tore every restaurant a new ass. Their prices were a little higher but so worth it. Big sandwiches, healthy portions of meat, good presentation.

In the last couple of years Quizno's has gone down the crapper. They're skimping and it ain't working.

I like the bread better at Subway. Quizno's is better in every other aspect (except for being slightly more expensive).

[/ QUOTE ]

I cant stand the bread at subway and I love the bread at quiznos.

The quality of quiznos may not be that great, but its miles ahead of any of the other sub fast food places I've eaten at.

at Subway I need to eat at least one footlong to start getting full, on several occasions I've had to eat 2.

[/ QUOTE ]
Really? You don't feel satisfied unless you have two feet of sandwich?

I agree that Quiznos has better meat, but its so expensive compared to Subway that the marginal edge in meat quality is swamped by the price difference. Also, lots of times I'd rather have a cold sub than a hot one, and Quiznos just doesn't do cold well at all.

Subway really made a leap when it started offering breads other than white/wheat.

Jimmy John's really varies each time. At the one closest to me, God help you if you forget to tell them no mayo or no oil, you'll be drowned in fat.
