Default www.pokeracehud.com redirects to bodog.com!

Not sure if this has been posted on here, couldn't find it in search.

Wanted to reinstall PAHud, went to www.pokeracehud.com by mistake. Guess who bought the url and redirected it to get more hits? Bodog--guess they're trying to increase poker traffic. The additional irony is that Bodog is one of the few sites PAHud doesn't support.

* Actually, I really doubt Bodog bought it; most likely an affiliate link

* This is a blatant violation of trademark law, and Josh, if you're interested, you could very easily get that domain transferred to you with a UDRP action.

Yeah, I will contact Josh regarding this matter immediately. I expect some type of resolution.

Luckily the guy was a retard and didnt register it privately.

Doesn't help if PAHUD isn't registered as trademark.

in the US, u don't need to *register* a mark as a TM...as soon as u use it in commerce, it's yours. This is a very simple and clearcut TM-violation. UDRP will knock it out in 5 mins and transfer the domain to Josh.

P.S. AP10, u should email affiliates@bodog.com too and get him booted as an affiliate for this.

teddy, I need to discuss it with Josh. Preferably the owner will not put up any type of fight and will release the domain without any 3rd party involvement. If not, then we may need to speak with Bodog. Thanks for the tips and ideas.

Yep, find me on AIM.
In the meantime, if u want to bone up on the UDRP (basically a streamlined challenge process specifically for cases like this, instead of actually filing a lawsuit), go here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UDRP

As AP10 said, hopefully he just releases this without a fight. He registered it less than a month after you launched pokeracesoftware.com, which is pretty incriminating.
While we're at it, the following domains are also taken, altho they appear to have been registered by different people than pokeracehud.com
- pokeraceheadsupdisplay.com
- pokeracepoker.com
