Stars $4/180 - 3rd hand AA
Is my line here EVER okay in one of these with the amount of preflop callers and this flop?

I don't like folding the flop. I'd raise there to 400.

Re: Stars $4/180 - 3rd hand AA
that early the preflop raise is too small.
Even UTG you could make that 200 and get the 1 or 2 callers you want rather than half the table. IMO |

The raise is too small PF. I would agree that 200 is right. You don't want many callers with that hand.

Re: Stars $4/180 - 3rd hand AA
i would raise it to like 120 or so (played over 300 of these 4.40s and its incredible how much bad players will call oop) so i think ur first mistake is there, and second u have to raise the flop to at least show strength. I think it prolly plays the same but u at least have a better idea if u are behind.

PF raise is fine.
I just don't get check/folding here at all. That can't be right like ever. You should be leading this flop for at least 300 and calling a shove. AJ, KJ, QJ, flush and straight draws do this enough to make it profitable. |

Re: Stars $4/180 - 3rd hand AA
I think this is bad, it is a scary flop but I reraise to 400 or 500 and call a push. oh and the pf raise is fine, raising to 200 is absurd as im sure you know.

Why is a raise to 200 absurd?
