Garfinkle Doubles Through Ramirez
Senovio Ramirez III flopped solid gold, holding {5s}{7s} when the flop came {5h}{7h}{7c}. Ramirez checked, as did his lone opponent, Steven Garfinkle. The turn brought the {Jd} and here's when the action caught fire. Garfinkle checked to Ramirez, who bet 303,000. Garfinkle then moved all-in over the top of Ramirez for 1,140,000 chips. Ramirez made the call and Garfinkle turned over pocket Jacks for a bigger full house, which would ultimately win him the pot. After the hand, Garfinkle improved to 3 million in chips, while Ramirez dropped to 770,000. A Killer Flop Adam White raised to 90,000 from middle position and Ken Smith called from the button. The flop was {As}{Jd}{9s}. White checked, Smith bet 300,000, White immediately went all in and Smith immediately called. White turned over {Ad}{9c} for two pair, but Smith had {Ah}{Ac} for top set. The turn was the {4s}, the river was the {4h}, and Smith increased his stack to 2.8 million while White's fell to 475,000. Matt Keikoan Eliminated in 63rd ($154,194) Board: {Qc}{As}{3d}{6d}{5d} Matt Keikoan goes all in preflop for 520,000 and Senovio Ramirez III re-raises 200,000 more to isolate. It works, and he takes the side chips back. Keikoan has {4c}{4h} but Ramirez has {9s}{9c}. The board offers no help and Keikoan is out. Ramirez has 1,100,000. |
