Default FT hand, I`m short but so are they...

This hand is from Pacific 15+1.5

Shorties are playing very tight.

I came to this final table with 6.5xBB and have pushed in only twice during about 15 hands so my image is pretty tight I guess.

Can`t remember payouts accurately but it`s something like 1.35k for 1st, 900 for 2nd, 8th gets 150.

Blinds are 1.5k/3k no antes.
Stacks:

Hero UTG (22388)
UTG+1 (18250)
UTG+2 (118054)
MP1 (12549)
CO (26016)
BUTTON (64975)
SB (17432)
BB (20636)

Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG and does what?

7.5bbs and the blinds are on you next hand, do you think you should make it a bit wider?

Given your read of the table, I think if you are thorugh the Blinds you can pushbot much wider with 6BBs.I dont wanna pass this chance by pushing UTG too loose, even if they are incredible tight.

Agreed but you will be pushing your 6x through the big stack who has you basically 6x now. I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just challenging it that's all. I used to play to tight in these cases and now I may have switched to far in the other direction.

Your pushing range has you basically 3:2 against a calling range of AQ+ TT+.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 41.745% 38.15% 03.59% 3421954452 322199268.00 { 88+, ATs+, ATo+ }
Hand 1: 58.255% 54.66% 03.59% 4902695364 322199268.00 { TT+, AQs+, AQo+ }

It would appear that some of these smaller stacks might be just holding on to go up in the pay grades. When I see that I open up my range a bit. However, UTG might not be the place to do it.

Blue Echo, I know you just want to get constructive answers, thats good and how it should be here.

I came from the other side of the range.
I am extremly aggro and I think I never would pass a chance to make even a slightly +EV shove.
But in this spot its not good to push any wider.
First of all we are still risking our tournament life.I have no problem with this if the reward is right, but here we only get 4,5k(no ante is very important here) if folded through.
Our M is low yes, but our Q is not that bad and you have at least to remember that you are playing a steady bubble.
If we get through the blinds(we might get a walk in the BB if the table is tight) I open shove ATC from MP+.
