why are you calling his 3bet pf if you're not gonna get it in on a good flop like that?

i'm guessing CO had AK/AQ and SB had QQ/KK but you can't call pf for set value

you called before CO did. it's very likely you'd be just HU in this hand. and even 3way unless both of them go all in like 85%+ of the time every time you hit a set you won't have odds to call.

basically, you're putting in 6.5 more to call the raise. you need to be able to make 11.7 times that when you hit (there's a thread explaining this if you want you can search for it) so that's 76.05 that you need to win. if they both go all in they will put a total of 84.55 in the pot plus the 2 that you put in earlier so that's 86.55. so you are getting odds to call but that's only if they both go allin every time if they hit or miss.

if you assume that half the time the CO will fold pf which is reasonable, then it's impossible to get value

So the best line in this hand is? Push AI pre or fold to 3bet...? I hate both

unless you've been raising a lot and haven't seen SB 3bet you yet i would fold pf.

if he thinks you're stealing/bluffing/whatever pf then i'd expect SB to make this move with hands like AT KT QT T9, but that seems less likely i guess.

basically it's a tough spot and you need a good read to play this well, and you're not getting odds to setmine, so i say fold pf without reads.

results?
