this is bad advice.

i'm naturally taggy and have had trouble with lags in the past. the most helpful thing i found was to actually learn a lag style and be comfortable with it. you don't have to play lag all the time, just be familiar with it and you'll realise the weak spots in such a style (no "style" is perfect). if you're not good at a lag style don't try to "outlag" your opponent, that's the second biggest mistake i see (the first being following the advice above). for more specific help post hands in the appropriate strat forum.
