Matt Sterling Eliminated
Matt Sterling led out for 20,000 and was raised to 75,000 by Robin Bergren. Sterling pushed all-in for 200,000 and Bergren made the call. Sterling showed pocket nines and Bergren showed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}, and the race was on. Board: {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} The ace on the turn sealed the deal and Sterling was eliminated. |

[ QUOTE ] Tuna Lund out in 319th ($39,445) [/ QUOTE ] bummer [/ QUOTE ] I lost a lot of respect for Lund earlier this year. We were both railing a SnG sat for the Bay101 Shooting Star and he totally cracked some kid for playing a hand poorly and sucking out on one of his buddies. |

[ QUOTE ] ike is my official new sweat interest. GO IKE. [/ QUOTE ] Is he the guy who had 800k tied up in Neteller? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. IIRC, he was paid for his Pokerstars Carribean WPT 2nd place finish into his PS account. He had just cashed out from PS into NT when the freeze went into effect. That right, Ike? |

Well, the pace has slowed dramatically, players are getting eliminated only about once in three minutes now. [/ QUOTE ] It does remind me of last year. Then, I kept calculating the average M of the field and saying "anytime now play is going to slow down". Yet, the average M kept going up and the play never slowed down. This should continue until at least the final 27. |

Last year was insane. I don't know how many players realized how deep they were. This year doesn't seem quite as bad.

[ QUOTE ] Isaac Haxton Wins A Huge Pot With nearly a half million in the pot already and the board reading 96A89 Haxton made a 250,000 bet and Robin Bergren called. He turned over KK which was 2nd best to Haxton's A2 . That pot pushed Haxton up to 1,400,000. [/ QUOTE ] I'm trying to figure out who played the river worse... [/ QUOTE ] That's a really dumb statement without evening knowing the previous action |
