Ive pretty much been a Cole-Haan guy, but I'm stepping up to Allen Edmonds as soon as possible.

Casualness is king nowadays. You can probably tailor your life so you will never have to wear leather shoes if you choose not to.

That being said, I'd start wearing leather shoes when they look more appealing to you than sneakers or what not.

If you own and occasionally have to wear a decent suit, almost by default you should own a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues. IMHO. I'm a pretty big fan of these as well.
