Default [theory] good chances for call..

situation smth like this:
Hero(BB)(7BB)
SB - (3BB)
Button - (10BB)
CO - (12BB)

CO folds, Button folds, SB is allin. U have good chances to call on any 2:
u need to bet 2.5 BB in 4.5 BB pot. But if u lose, next hand u on SB and after postin a blind your stack will 4BB, and u will have very small fold equaty against BB...
lets imagine that u exactly know the hand of SB. What chances do u need for your hand to call? 50/50? 40/60? 60/40?

How will your decision change if there are 5 players instead of 4, and 5th has 10BB?

IT's 2 BB in a 4 BB pot so 2:1.

If SB knows what he is doing, he is pushing super wide and you have to call wide too but probably not any two. I'd fold the very worst hands and call roughly with 75%. 40/60 seems correct.

At the lower buy-ins, SB is probably pushing tighter so you have to tighten a bit.

You already have 1 BB out, hes pushing ATC, you call with ATC for 2 BBs. You give yourself a chance to knock the player out and put you even with the other 2 to get a better spot in the money. This beats the hell out of folding hoping to save a little FE and getting slaughtered as bigstacks ram bets down your bubble-fearing throat

Unless he has an overpair to BOTH my cards, im awwwwwl inn

And we cant say how it changes with 5 people cause that depends on new stack dispersement

Ignoring loss of fold equity and just using ICM:
EV%(fold)=22.05
EV%(call/win)=32.67
EV%(call/lose)=15.86
The change in EV (relative to folding) is +10.62% for winning and -6.19% for losing.
So winning is 10.62/6.19 = 1.716 times better than losing, therefore you want a win% = 1/(1+1.716)= 36.82% (1 win per 1.716 losses)

Changing the situation to 5 handed (the 5th player having 10BBs) decreases the effect of the bubble, as a guess I would say you could call with ~0.5% less chance of winning.

Note that the bubble has only a small effect in this situation since you have your opponent well covered. If there were no blinds you would only need a ~53.7% to call an all in vs the SB.
