Last night I played for a while with the most hyperagressive maniacal player I've ever seen, by a factor of 10, Dario Minieri. I'm a superaggressive player myself, and I've played with Gus Hansen, Gavin Smith (who called me a maniac), David the Dragon Pham, Sorel Mizzi, Tommy Vu and others who play a hyperaggressive style. I understand how they play, and I think I know how to play against them. But when Dario showed up at our table last night (soon after Sorel showed up), I was at a loss as to what to do. Within minutes, he and Sorel (who kicked it up 5 notches when Dario showed up) had played multiple pots which went: raise, reraise, reraise, all in, fold. Before Sorel's suckout in a 400K pot ended my quest for ME glory, I managed to win a few significant pots from Dario by playing passively post-flop and letting him bet when I happened to have a pretty good hand. I'd love to hear the strategic thoughts of anyone who has played against him. Thanks.

I played with him for a long time in the 5k 6 max. As you could imagine, it was pretty crazy.
Check call ftw. |

He is chipleader now. [/ QUOTE ] With the massive lead he has and his style, he's going to be very tough to beat. |

I played with Dario for 14~ hours on day 1 and then another 8 on day 2. He was on my left both days. I got tangled with him a few times but basically tightened up and avoided playing pots with him out of position.
He is by far the best tournament player I have ever played with. I have never seen someone control the table as well as he does. |
