Re: .5/1 55 and forced to go AI pf? 100 bb
This is as much of a spew as is raising AK. I think youre all crazy. Give me reasons why this is a spew.
There is 5.5 bb in the pot, no one has shown any interest in the pot, this is a +ev spot. What is your ptbb/100 for 55? If called I still have solid equity, a lot of FE because I look strong, and most times I take it down right there. Youll rarely be in super ev spots by just completing a small PP here w/ all these people. Youre not going to get paid w/ a set and w/ that many people youre likely to get drawn out on or behind anyway. |

Re: .5/1 55 and forced to go AI pf? 100 bb
this is not the same as raising with AK.
if all was like 120bb+ deep raising here with small pps from sb once in a while is ok. |

Re: .5/1 55 and forced to go AI pf? 100 bb
Why is it a spew and what PP is the spew cutoff since 55 is clearly in the spew range.
Also the decision to push/fold after the 3bet hasnt been commented on and I think its at least discussion worthy |

Re: .5/1 55 and forced to go AI pf? 100 bb
It's marginal with this many limpers in the pot, but I still don't hate the PF raise. I personally would probably complete with 22-77 and raise 88+ most of the time. Hattifnatt is definitely correct that the deeper you are, the better a raise is.
As to the push/fold, I agree it's interesting. I commented above. |

Raise preflop and it's not even close. As played fold because your either barely ahead an Ax type hand or way behind a bigger pair.
