Default 2/5 Live

Heads up against this dude I really don't like...super aggressive, winning player, talks a lot of [censored]. I have $400, he covers...

Few limpers, I raise to $25 from BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
He calls from the button.

Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, he bets $35. I call ( )

Turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I lead for $75, he calls...( )

River 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check, he bets $150. I call ( )

Raise more preflop. Bet the flop. Check/call the turn. River is okay though. Overall, this was played pretty poorly.

A few limpers? 3? It makes a bit of a difference. I'll assume 3 limpers, which makes $15-$17 after the drop. Given that, raising to $25 is about right if you want action.

For the flop, I'm betting most of the time (75%?) and it will be $30-$75 when one person calls (because the pot is $65).

Because I bet the flop and you didn't, the whole hand changes and how this guy plays and how I think he is viewing me becomes very important.

If he raises the flop, I call and push the turn because I put him on a pair of 8's or a bigger PP.

If he calls the flop and I think its a draw, not a pair, I fold the turn.

If I think his call is a pair I push the turn.

How do you tell them apart? Diffucult to say, I'm right most of the time, but not all.

One final point, the "Super Agressive" live players, who are really SA's will fold a lot to big bets. It is, after all, the folds that make them so agressive. Amoung the live players that look SA, most are really LAGP's that bet big, but actually call way too much. These are the guys I stack all the time.

Make it $40-45 preflop here to isolate. Your hand looks pretty much like AK on turn action. I probably bet flop and c/c turn after that c/c river is okay but I suspect you are behind here a lot

This is complete spew. Also, how are you "putting" on stuff. Shouldn't you be giving him a range instead?

How is "a pair of 8's or a bigger PP" a specific hand?

x8, 99, TT, JJ, QQ is 16 hands.
